Rider Education
Your Journey Begins Here
There's never been a better time to learn to ride. Now more than ever, riding a motorcycle is as much practical as it is liberating. If you're thinking of riding a bike, you need to learn the rules of the road, and that's where we come in. Whether you've been riding for years or you've never even sat on a motorcycle, our expert instructors will make you feel comfortable while teaching you the skills you need to ride with confidence in the real world.
We offer weekday and weekend courses at Laconia Harley-Davidson. For beginners, courses are offered in group settings, with optional one-on-one training. For the veteran riders there's the Experienced Rider Course, an opportunity for you to learn advanced skills on your motorcycle. Rider Courses Offered
Basic Rider Course® Classic Edition
With a proven cirriculum and expert instructors, we can teach almost anyone to ride. Every journey has to begin somewhere. The Classic Edition of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation® Basic Rider Course is a 15 hour class, which is divided into three days.
Basic Rider Course® Custom Edition
One-on-one training and more riding time makes this option ideal for non-riders. This course format offers you individual training with an instructor prior to the two consecutive days of group training on the track.
Testimonials
We came from Massachusetts to attend the Basic Rider Course, and it was well worth it. I was amazed that I went from knowing nothing about a bike, to feeling comfortable and confident by the end of the class. I think the step by step lessons worked really well, and help ease you into understanding how motorcycles work.
Our main instructor for the course was David, and he was awesome! I can't express enough how great he was. He was so laid back and cool that it made the whole course a lot less stressful than it could have been. He was a great coach. I would do an exercise, and by the time I came to a stop next to him, he could tell me exactly what I had done (whether it had been right or wrong) and could tell me what I needed to improve it on the next run. I was amazed! I had a great time, enjoyed riding, and look forward to continuing riding in the future with thanks to your course!
